The bible tells us liars will have their part in the lake of fire. Liars will face the wrath of God. One of the ten commandments tells us not to bear false witness (or lie). True Christians will not lie.
The bible tells us what a liar is. To understand the word of God, we must let God define and interpret his word. God tells us what a liar is in the book of 1John chapter 2. He tells us a liar is one who denies that jesus is the Christ. True Christians will not deny that Jesus is the Christ. If Christ abides in us, he cannot deny himself. Therefore, true Christians will not lie, or deny that Jesus is the Christ.
The bible also tells us, Jesus is the true witness. The bible tells us, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. If we deny the truth, we are a liar. Therefore, if we deny Jesus (the truth), we are a liar. This is the spiritual interpretation of liars. The hidden meaning of the word liar. Therefore, we can see we must divide the word of God to see what he is really saying. We also must have the spirit of God to see God’s hidden wisdom.
Without understanding the word of God spiritually, one would try never to tell a natural lie. They would believe this is required for salvation. However, this would make salvation dependent upon our own works. We know we are saved by grace through faith and not of works. We are saved by faith alone in Christ. So why does God command us not to lie. He is really commanding us to believe Jesus is the Christ. If we do not deny that Jesus is the Christ, we are not a liar according to the spiritual definition of liars. We are not liars spiritually. The bible tells us the law of God is spiritual. This means the law has spiritual meanings. Liars being one example. The spiritual meaning of a liar being one who denies Christ.
Nothing more is required for salvation other than faith alone in jesus christ. All the commandments of God mean for us to have faith in Christ. Many, however, do not understand the spiritual nature of the word of God. They do not understand the hidden meanings of the word of God. They do not understand, God uses natural things to communicate spiritual things unto us. This is why there are so many different religions and denominations in the world today. This is why many believe the word of God contradicts itself. They just cannot see spiritually. They are spiritually blind. However, Jesus opens the eyes of the blind. He opens our spiritual eyes when he saves us.
To see the truth in the word of God, we must be born of the spirit of God through faith in Jesus Christ. The spirit will then teach us the true meaning of the word of God. However, true Christians realize nothing more is required for salvation other than faith in Jesus. Because of this, true Christians are rejected by the false church. The world does not understand us because it don’t understand Jesus. Because of this, true Christians are persecuted. Don’t be a liar. Don’t deny that Jesus truly is the Christ, the son of god.
